The mission of The Gideons International In Canada is to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ, through personal evangelism and Scripture distribution, in Canada and worldwide, so that people may receive eternal life.

Our Vision Statement

Ministry (External) Vision

Our vision is to reach our communities for Christ and to enable God's Word to be placed and at work in every country of the world, so that every person has ready access to God’s Word, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as personal Saviour and Lord.

Organizational (Internal) Vision

We will become a major force for evangelism in Canada, whose members live in vital relationship with Jesus Christ, are motivated by the ministry vision and, energized by the Holy Spirit, actively give themselves to the work of the gospel and the distribution of the Word of God.

We will be an ethnically diverse association, competently led by strong visionary leaders, well organized, efficiently managed and steadily growing in numbers, partnering with the church in carrying out the Great Commission. Every member will see himself as a witness, recruiter and fund-raiser.
